RAPID KINETICS
- Stopped-flow conductimetry sensor
Bio-Logic's
range of detectors for Stopped-flow Kinetics now includes the MCS200
conductimetric sensor. The many applications include metal ligand
binding, micelle formation, proton exchange, ion exchange and reduction/oxidation.
Based on Fast-Fourier Transformed Impedance Spectroscopy it records
impedance spectra at frequencies up to 200 kHz.
Stopped flow kinetics can be measured by electrical conductivity
with a time resolution of 200 µs per data point. Kinetics can be
recorded simultaneously by both conductimetric detection and optical
absorption. The cuvette has an optical path length is 1.5 mm and
incorporates glassy carbon electrodes, a material which minimises
adhesion of air bubbles onto the surface.
The MCS200 detector can be combined with all Bio-Logic stopped
flow mixers.
